Covid19 LIVE update: PM Modi signs in lockdown extension;  Launch of e-Token system for liquor sale in Maharashtra


  Two months after the first case of coronavirus was found in Mumbai, the maximum city count stood at 14,355 on Monday with 791 new infections, while the toll rose to 528 with 20 fresh deaths.  The first coronavirus case was detected on 11 March in Mumbai, while the first malignancy was reported on 17 March.  New COVID-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra on Monday, taking the number of people infected with the virus to 23,0101.  While 36 deaths were reported on Monday, the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the state increased to 868.  PM Narendra Modi held a virtual meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states on Monday, in which Dr.  Uddhav Thackeray asked COVID-19 Central force on duty.  The resumption of local trains and agriculture were also some of the points pointed out by the CM.  Focusing on the lockdown extension, PM Modi asked the states to submit their suggestions by May 15 on how to open up the economy as well as recommendations.  Staggered out of lockdown.
